After maintaining a presence for a number of years, the popular mehadrin hechsher of Rav Rabbi Moshe Yehuda Leib Landau Shlita will no longer give his supervision for Strauss mehadrin line products.

The official announcement was released by R’ Landau earlier on Wednesday, stating as of Thursday morning, 6 Shvat 5770 (21 January 2010), he will no longer grant supervision to Strauss Dairy.

Those items on store shelves with R’ Landau’s seal remain approved and mehadrin.

According to the staff at Badatz R’ Avraham Rubin Shlita, the rav’s hechsher will begin appearing on the products previously supervised by R’ Landau, as of Sunday, 9 Shvat (24.1)
