The demand for construction workers in Israel continues to grow as the government has set the elimination of the nationwide housing shortage as a top priority. Towards expanding nationwide construction, six companies will be permitted to bring 1,000 construction workers each to contribute to Israel’s construction workforce.
According to the Ministry of Housing, no less than 50 foreign construction companies have submitted bids in the tender in the hope of being awarded a lucrative contract. The list includes companies from Russia, Greece, Turkey, China, Vietnam, Spain, the Ukraine and Portugal.
