Israel Police officials announce they will be out in greater numbers in resort areas during the coming weeks, Bein Hazmanim. Tens of thousands of avreichim and talmidim will be heading to resorts, camping, apartment exchanging and other activities in the hope of taking a break from the rigorous limud scheduled maintained year-round and to spend additional time with families.

Police urge travelers and hikers to prepare in accordance with regulations and to make absolutely certain that designated drivers are seasoned well-experienced individuals and not novices. Police call on all travelers to comply with safety regulations and to be well stocked with water and have working communications devices when setting out on hikes.

Persons are also urged not to enter the water on any beach when lifeguards are not present.
