The cabinet has given its approval for the new state budget, leading to Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu releasing the following statement to the media.

“The Government has unanimously approved the state budget. This is an important budget with foundations for competition, reforms and growth, a lower cost of living and reducing the gaps, which is an important goal of ours.

“I thank the Finance Minister, the Finance Ministry Director General, the Director of the Budgets Division, the people at the Finance Ministry, all Government ministers and their people and the Director General of the Prime Minister’s Office. After a day, night and the start of another day, you can understand the advantages of a biannual budget for the good of the Israeli economy, the citizens of Israel and the State of Israel.”
