The Olam Hatorah was plunged into mourning on Tuesday night, with the Petira of Hagaon HaRav Aryeh Finkel ZATZAL.
Rav Finkel was the Rosh Yeshiva of Yeshivas Mir Brachfeld and a member of the Moetzes Gedolei Hatorah of Degel Hatorah.
Hatzolah was rushed to his home at around midnight after he collapsed and went into cardiac arrest. Paramedics attempted to save his life as the nearby Bais Hamedrash filled up with Bochurim reciting Tehillim.
Unfortunately, he was Niftar in his home a short time later at the age of 85.

They were 2nd cousins, but 1st cousins through marriage.
R’ Nosson Zvi’s Father in law, R’ Beinish and R’ Aryeh’s father, R’ Chaim Ze’ev, were brothers. Both sons of R’ Leizer Yudel.
(R’ Nosson Zvi’s grandfather was R’ Leizer Yudel’s brother, so his wife tblch”t is his 2nd cousin)
