An 8-year-old child is in serious condition after begin struck by a vehicle in Lakewood, Tuesday morning.

According to TLS, the incident happened in the Spruce Street area around 9:20AM.

The young girl sustained significant injuries, police say, and she was transported by Hatzolah Paramedics to Jersey Shore Medical Center.
