Bereaved Mom Wants To Build A Shul To Honor Her Son’s Memory


2The family of Golani Sgt. Oren Noach HY”D is working to build a shul in memory of their son and six other soldiers, all killed when a rocket pierced their armored personnel carrier during Operation Protective Edge, Israel counter-terrorism offensive in Gaza in 2014.  The family is trying to raise NIS 400,000 via Headstart and have about a month remaining to reach this goal.

Mrs. Chavah Noach hope she will raise the funds to establish Beit Knesset Simchat Oren in her son’s memory, explaining the new shul will be erected close to where Oren grew up. She explains the new shul will also be used for daily tefilos, shiurim and community activities for young and old alike.
