The European Union continues its blatant involvement in Jerusalem, seeking to promote its pro-PA (Palestinian Authority) agenda.    

According to an investigating conducted by the weekly Makor Rishon, an EU-affiliated organization maintains what is called the “Europe House” in eastern Jerusalem, a project that claims to be the “Silwan Center for Social and Cultural Development, using EU funds to undermine the sovereignty of the State of Israel in the eastern area of the capital, which the EU views as “Israeli occupied,” working towards the creation of a Palestinian state, in which this area will be included in “Palestine’s” capital.

The five-story EU building in the Shiloach area of Yerushalayim continues to operate in the area, despite the fact the structure was constructed illegally.

The Makor Rishon report adds that municipality inspectors visited the structure on numerous occasions, but have not succeeded in tracking down the owners. The sign in the front of the structure however attests to the connection to the building and the EU community.

City Hall officials indicate they plan to take the matter to court since the structure was built without permits and it is illegal.

In response to the report, EU officials insist they do not own the building, adding for now; they have ceased all support for the Silwan Center of Social & Cultural Development.
