Israel: Family Court Compels Interior Ministry To List Two-Mom Couple As Children’s Parents R’L

1R”L an Israeli Family Court has instructed the Ministry of the Interior to issue birth certificates and ID cards to two women, one a biological mother of their children and the other being the second parent. Both women must be listed as “parents” under the court ruling despite ministry objections to do so in the past.

Prior to the ruling, only one parent of a same-gender female couple could be listed as a parent on official state documents. A “co-parent” was written in place of the father in the past.

Daniela Yaakobi represented three couples before the court, demanding they both be listed as ‘mothers’ of the children in question and emerged successful. The cases only addressed same-gender female couples, not the same with men R”L.

  1. What is the world coming to?

An old saying: Azoi vi es goyisht zich, azoi yidisht zich, (loosely translate: that which happens in the non-Jewish world finds itself in our world) and Israel always tops it off, foolishly believing that the world will respect them more the more immoral and base they are.
