Giuliani: Saying ‘Black Lives Matter’ Is ‘Inherently Racist’

blmFormer New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani is being criticized after calling the term “black lives matter” ”inherently racist.”

During a Sunday appearance on CBS’ “Face the Nation,” Giuliani said “when you say black lives matter, that’s inherently racist.” He went on to say “black lives matter. White lives matter. Asian lives matter. Hispanic lives matter. That’s anti-American and it’s racist.”

Giuliani also says back children face a greater threat from other black children than from police. He says “the real danger to them 99 out of 100 times … are other black kids who are going to kill them. That’s the way they’re going to die.”

In a New York Daily News column, the Rev. Al Sharpton says Giuliani’s comments reveal “an appalling lack of understanding” of the issue.

  1. During the First or Second Intifada, there were Jews chanting the slogan “Jewish Blood is not Cheap.” What does Mr. Giuliani think of that?

  2. The leading cause of death, according to the CDC, for Black males between the ages of 15 – 34 is homicide. The majority of those murders, it has been reported, were by other Blacks. The only one here who has “an appaling lack of understanding of the issue” is the Rev Sharpton.

  3. Former Arkansas governor and GOP presidential candidate Mike Huckabee said “Male Lives Matter” should be the “real movement.”

  4. HUJU: did you think before commenting?
The intafada was clearly again Jews, yet this so called racism doesn’t exist.
The blacks are spreading racism by making this all about themselves.

For those like you who have an appaling lack of understanding of the issue, he probably thinks it means that unlike arab blood which is made cheap by using its bearers as human shields and suicide killers, etc., Jewish blood on the other hand, is not cheap.
Seems as you don’t often do it, but in this case think about it.
