The victim of the motzei Shabbos shooting attack between Tekoa and Efrat, Eitan Finkel, is recuperating in Shaare Zedek Medical Center. His condition is listed as light-to-moderate. The attack occurred shortly after they left Tekoa.
Finkel told the press “We left the yishuv and near the intersection, my wife and I saw a terrorist coming opposition with an automatic weapon aimed at us.”
Eitan added “My wife screamed and I screamed as we heard the gunfire and the windows exploding. I feared I might pass out. Clearly they wanted to kill us all. Isn’t it a miracle we survived?”
B’chasdei Hashem only Eitan was wounded, relatively light. He was in the vehicle together with his wife and their six children.
