The rosh yeshiva of the Har Bracha Hesder Yeshiva, Rabbi Eliezer Melamed, had words of criticism for last week’s cover story appearing in the weekly Mishpacha Hebrew chareidi magazine.
The rav explains that the article was printed as if an interview was conducted with him, while in essence, some of the material was taken from the Arutz-7 website and other material was extracted from responses to questions to him via email.
“The article was full of mistakes and serious inaccuracies, some possibly even compromising the integrity of the hesder yeshivot and a number of rabbonim from the ‘incorrect stream’” the rav added in his remarks.
Rabbi Melamed also accuses Mishpacha of attributing quotes to him that he simply did not make; simply stating one should not rely on the report.
He concluding by stating he has heard the correspondent, Aaron Granovitz, is a good person. The report was carried by the Kikar website.
