I think what Ismail Daoud Weiss (Achmed is Mr Cohen, then you have Machmoud Assad Faridman, Ismail Hirsch, Mohammed Bashar Beck etc) meant to say is that he has hundreds of thousands of people who would like to back him into a wall with a bulldozer!

While I don’t think they should let Mr. Weiss next to anything that even resembles a microphone, he was clearly stressed out during this interview and sounded silly.
I think the interviewer did a much better than that of the British interview you posted. He really kept pushing him and did not let Mr. Weiss go on forever in his usual rant.
Its interesting that he keeps quoting Rabbis who opposed Zionism as the source of his madness, yet he is not capable of quoting any Rav who supports their self hating actions.

I’ve always enjoyed your show, and always appreciate hearing your point of view. Even when I disagree with you, I still respect your opinions as they always come from a place of intelligence and balanced thought. However, I think you are making a big mistake by giving a public pulpit to this despicable human being from Neturei Karta – this Weiss character. While you are surely doing it in the name of getting a balanced point of view by “hearing his side,” I think it crosses the line into aiding and abetting a person whose views and behavior are clearly beyond the pale. He and his group engage in rhetoric and behaviors which are destructive in the extreme, and cause enormous harm to the Jewish People, whom they falsly claim to represent. If you can conjure up a vision of the worst possible American traitor, whoever it may be, a Benedict Arnold, or any American citizen who collaborates with our enemies at the risk of causing harm to Americans, I venture to say that you would not deem this person’s point of view to be worthy of a public airing on your show. This decision to host Weiss does not reflect fair and balanced reporting, but rather, it unfortunately turns your show into a forum for a destructive freak show, which surely gives you or your show no benefit – even if it gives you a temporary boost in ratings. I strongly urge you to refrain from inviting such people to be on your show, as It only serves to diminish your respectability as a balanced reporter, and casts doubt on the whether you have properly calibrated your moral compass.

First of all, I thought you would be personally interviewing him, and not knowing how the show runs, I’m not sure as to whether the guest host has a say in the matter as to who comes on. However, your name is still on the marquis, so I do assume the decision is yours. Nevertheless, I must concede that despite the fact that I still hold by the inappropriateness of hosting this human lizard on your show, I do have to compliment your guest host, who was very knowledgable and well prepared, and did not concede an inch to this degenerate, Weiss.

Weiss actually came across rather strong in his point, his stuttering notwithstanding his obvious lack of tv/media experience. I don’t see the Weiss or the host coming away with a “victory” from this interview. In fact it furthers their cause be giving them additional publicity.
I advocate doing anything that we can to these people. Not just a meaningless Cherem that half the people won’t follow, but more then cherem. We have to do what we have to do. I have made a few suggestions, but the YW editor will not print them.

I think that The Wise Guy actually did a Great job! He does his homework well, is very prepared, and was not lost at all! I think that it comes from experience. After meeting with the cruelest dangerous individuals on this globe, you don’t get scared or nervous in front of a calm Fox News reporter! The only time he looked nervous was when he realized that he didn’t have enough time to get his point across. This Wise Guy brought along a bunch of papers, a bunch of proof of success but was not given the “time” to show off! (Thank G-D)
The 3 real problems with the interview are:
1) This madman got all the attention he needed, and that just supports him. He is usually out of work and out of the spotlight, and now he is high on top. The fact that he is in cherem or that ALL frum Jews are upset at him doesn’t bother him, he never had any Jewish friends, only some cruel Muslims, and now he has even more of them.
2) This interview is exactly what Ahmadinejad yemach shemom wanted! The president of Iran is flattered by this interview on Fox. It’s the best he could have asked for!
3) Many Fox News viewers walked away from watching this interview believing this Wise Guy. Especially the people that don’t know him. Why should they not believe that all “Thousands of “Hassidic” Jews agree and back him? And many other viewers simply became more confused!
I think that the all in all, this interview caused a tremendous “chillul Hachem” and a tremendous Chillul Chasiddus”. The only thing that can help change the image is if the Chassidim work very hard to make only a kiddush Hashem! Every day, every hour and every minute! Even when it has nothing to do with Iran, Israel or The Wise Guy!

I just saw the video. The Fox interviewer was extraordinary. He won the debate/interview. Weiss was “upshlugged” on subtantive grounds. He sounded like a deranged lunatic. Thanks to Fox for hitting him hard.
I think he came across most foolish when he said that the only way to deal with a ‘bully’ at school would be dialogue and then compared it to the situation with Iran. The moderator did a perfect job in ‘grilling’ him, however I have some concerns that the non Jewish public might view this as another attempt by Jewish conglamarets to control the media. I think had he been alittle less roughand abit more diplomatic, he would have still succeeded in demeaning Mr. Weiss’ twisted concept!
Fist of all it wasn’t Cavuto that interviewed but someone filling in. Neil C. gave him a much easier time a couple of months ago. If they’ll receive hundreds of emails maybe they’ll do something about it.

One point he keeps making is that dialogue is the answer, but when was the last time he spoke to (or even wrote a letter) to any Israeli or any other Jews. He quotes no living Gedolim, nor has any real Rabbonim backing him.

I think people are using wishful thinking in deciding who won the debate. While we all wish that Weiss would have been made to look stupid, unfortuantely he did a excellent job of making his point which is not easy in the Cable TV format. I believe that most goyim will walk away from watching that thinking that he made some very valid points. He understands media well, and like Goebbels knows propaganda, bringing up South Africa was brilliant. He was prepared, articulate, and came across as very sane. This is a difficult and challenging enemy, not a push over by any stretch of the imagination.

What is more, on the site where I found the video link, there was a reference to “Al Quds Day” having taken place on “samstag,” which, as I verified, does indeed mean Saturday in German.

First, I wanted to compliment you on an excellent interview with that
anti-Semite-loving so-called “Rabbi” Weiss.
I am an Ultra-Orthodox Jew, a Hassidic Jew, and one who is in touch with
the Jewish world and Jewish news.
I want to let you know that “Rabbi” Weiss (I don’t think he actually has
ordination, and if he does, it should be revoked) does NOT by any means
have thousands of supporters for what he did. I doubt that at the moment
he has more than a hundred, and I sincerely hope he does not have even
that.
In fact, ever since he attended the Holocaust Denial conference, he and
his group have been excommunicated by just about every Rabbi in the
world, including the Supreme Ultra-Orthodox Jewish Court of Jerusalem,
which used to support him and his group rather heavily.
It has been reported in the Jewish newspaper “Yated Ne’eman” (December
29th edition, page 33, column 1) that the Jewish Burial Society to which
one Aaron Cohen, of the “delegates” to Iran, belonged, run by Rabbi
Menachem Mendel Schneebalg of Manchester, and the Chief Jewish Court of Manchester, have announced that they deny him any right to Jewish burial in Manchester, an act of the most extreme excommunication from Jewish society.
They have returned to Cohen his membership money in the Burial Society.
The article goes on to say that Cohen himself says that he now requires
police protection because of the masses of Jews that protest at his home
in Manchester.
However, many Jews are concerned that viewers of that interview now
believe that many Jews support Weiss.
Perhaps you should consider, for a true view from both sides,
interviewing someone from the Hassidic community who opposes Weiss. That shouldn’t be too difficult to find.
