1. Let’s all try to have concrete responses when contacting fox news. Not just “Oh, he’s so insane!” which basically is what most callers said on that radio interview linked yesterday. Rather say something like he represents no one. The only source he brought was a letter written by R’ Dushinsky, z’l, in 1947. All current gedolim, including the antizionist eida hachareidis, are against them.

2. Hi there. I am an orthodox woman who lost her great grandparents and many many family members in the holocaust. Aunts, Uncles, Cousins.
   Every Friday night when I light my candles, I cry “great grandmother, great grandfather, your great granddaughter is lighting the Shabbat candles. Your deaths were not in vain!!!” I comfort myself by imagining that as they were burning in the synagogue that the Nazis torched in their small village of Bukovsk, my voice is reaching them through the flames and smoke. Through the crackling of wood, and the screaming of the children, my voice wafts towards them, and before their pure souls return to their creator, I know that they have heard me. I look at their picture on my dining room wall, I trace their faces with my fingers, I long to have met them and all my other relatives who went up in smoke honoring G-d’s name.
   And so, to hear that you will have that holocaust denier on your show hurts me, and all of my brethren so much, you cannot even imagine. Feel free to read that evil man this e mail.

5. I fail to understand why everyone is ‘kissing up’ to Fox. Why dont we just rise above that and demean the matter.

   I am a fan of Fox News. I am also, among other things, an ordained Orthodox Jewish Rabbi and an attorney.

   I have conducted extensive research and have yet to discover if Mr. Weiss has been ordained as a Rabbi. So far, it seems, Rabbi Weiss is not a Rabbi: he does not have a synagogue in which he serves as a Rabbinic Authority, nor does he teach in that capacity in any Yeshiva or Mesivta (high school or above). His use of the appellation, it would appear, is designed to manipulate audiences (and, perhaps, you) into granting him the aura of legitimacy which he does not deserve. Considering that the entire Orthodox Jewish community is suspicious, at best, of his Rabbinic qualifications, I think it may be appropriate to ask who ordained him, and for a copy of that ordination. I doubt he would give you a straight answer.

   This, however, is the least of his problems. While there is a bona fide Neturei Karta group in Jerusalem which was started by genuinely great Torah leaders, a group which does not believe in the right of a Jewish state to exist prior to the onset of the Messiah, that group has never attended rallies with terrorists, or participated in Holocaust denial conferences. They do not enjoy the financial support of terrorists like Yasser Arafat, either. The fact than an Orthodox “Rabbi” can do any of these things should cause a reasonable individual to wonder. In fact, the leaders of this bona fide group have publicly denounced Mr. Weiss for his attendance of the Holocaust Denial Conference in Tehran. Mr. Weiss calls himself a member of the Neturei Karta, but his methods and modus operandi are so different from those of the Neturei Karta of Jerusalem that it is impossible to accord his representations with any credulity. Every anti-Zionist group, including even Satmar and the Edei Charedis of Jerusalem, have denounced Mr. Weiss and his small group of followers in the strongest terms for stoking the flames of anti-Semitism among those intent on killing Jews. All Orthodox Jewish group have demanded that Orthodox Jews have nothing to do with these individuals. They are not allowed into our synagogues or even be buried in burial plots together with Orthodox Jews. Rabbi Weiss will claim that this is an act of the “Zionists” (which shows that he believes in anti-Semitic propaganda, another issue which should raise your curiosity as he claims to be an Orthodox Jewish Rabbi), but Satmar is not Zionist. Eida Charedis is not Zionist. In fact, I am not a Zionist. I merely have the sense to know that one does not embrace evil individuals intent on killing millions of people.

   There are also very strong questions about the propriety of Mr. Weiss calling himself an Orthodox Jew: Mr. Weiss and his followers have been seen publicly violating the Sabbath, as well.

   Since Mr. Weiss is not allowed to have anything to do with Jews and does not even observe the Sabbath, it is absolutely inappropriate to regard Mr. Weiss as a representative of the “true” views of Orthodox Jewry.

   I am confident that you will find Mr. Weiss exactly for what he is: an attention craving maniac who loves to stoke hatred; an individual without sense, morals, patriotism, heart, or a redeeming message. But I also hope that you will continue the admirable job you have done in exposing the truth for what it is. Mr. Weiss is an apologist for a regime which the President denounced as evil. We cannot afford to give individuals who have sold out on our country the chance to air their views with impunity; not in these times. He is traitor to his people, to his country, and to his fellow man.

    I fully understand the motivation for FOX News to interview Mr. Weiss of Neturai Karta. He is, by all accounts, a highly controversial figure and as such, an interview with him will be of much interest to many viewers. However, I would like to make you aware of one point. Mr. Weiss, or as he calls himself, “Rabbi” Weiss, as well as the other few dozen followers of Neturai Karta’s twisted ideology have been totally ostracized by the Orthodox Jewish community because of their actions. Although they wear the garb of Ultra-Orthodox Hassidic Jews, there is no Hassidic group – neither in the US nor in Israel that they are at all affiliated with. Rather, to the contrary, statements have been issued by organizations representing virtually all Orthodox Jewish groups declaring unambiguously that Neturai Karta’s ideology has no place in the Jewish community.

    I respectfully request that you clarify this important information for your viewers as it is an integral part of any story focusing on Neturai Karta.

    I am an Orthodox Jew, and like the rest of the entire Orthodox Jewish community, am shocked to hear that an individual claiming to voice the opinion of the Orthodox Jewish community is to be hosted on your network. I understand that we all have freedom of speech in this country, however that is to speak our own opinions – not to falsely voice opinions of other groups as the Neturei Karta have continuously done.
    As you will surely see during the show, there is no real backing to this organization and they truly represent nobody but themselves. The entire Orthodox Jewish community (including sects that are anti-zionist themselves) has shunned these people, by placing large posters in Jerusalem and New York against them as well as banning them from being buried in the Jewish cemeteries in their communities.
    The Orthodox Jewish community supports people and families hurt and killed by suicide bombers in Israel. They do not take money from the perpetrators of such acts. The Neturei Karta has been shown to be on the payroll from the well known murderer Yasser Arafat. By supporting the violent acts of the Arab Fundamentalists as well as marching beside them and shaking hands and embracing a known Anti-Semite called Ahmedinejad, who has been quoted many times as planning to destroy Israel and has his next target set on America, this organization shows that they are nothing but a fraud.
    It is well known that the Arab Fundamentalists use the media to portray themselves as downtrodden and victims of Israeli and American aggression. Most of the time, these claims, videos and or media spots are doctored as was proven this summer with the case of the bomb that killed the Arab family on the beach in Gaza (where it was falsely claimed to be Israeli gunfire) as well as the doctored Reuters photo. The Neturei Karta, by being paid by the Arab Terrorists are surely just another such media outlet. They are clearly highly trained in psychology and manipulation as they will almost never answer a question directly. Their signature is to always hit with an offensive, claiming that the comment made by the other individual is a Zionist idea or poisoned concept, etc., rather than answer the question or remark. The Arab Terrorists use this tactic as well. It is highly likely that these misfits are Arabs themselves, that spent a few hundred dollars on some Hasidic garb and are totally and completely funded by the Arab terrorists to convince audiences worldwide of the Arab Fundamentalists cause.
    Whatever the case, it must be unequivocally noted that they do NOT represent Orthodox Jewry, or any Jewry for that matter.

    Yes, you are correct, to the frum and/or to the ‘educated’ – on this matter, that is – he did make him a fool out of himself in previous interviews. However, will he be making a fool out of himself to the average American Joe out there? I don’t think so.
    What they see is a religious Jew, they don’t know any different. Even if the interviewer were to ask him about him and his cronies being outcasts in the Orthodox world, he will talk his way out of it. And American Joe will be none the wiser to believe him.

    It should be obvious that upon introducing Weiss from Neturei Karta on tonight’s show, as well as throughout the interview, that you will explain that there isn’t a single orthodox Jew in all the world, who supports Neturai Karta. Even anti-Zionist Rabbis and organizations have condemned them and have literally excommunicated them. To the extent of the Chief Rabbi of Manchester England, banning a member of the group who resides there from eventual burial in any Jewish cemetery in Manchester.
    So please don’t make the mistake that the media has for years. And don’t misrepresent them as spokesmen for Orthodox Jews. I’m Orthodox and their opinions and actions are more than revolting to me.

    Your absolutley right! But as far as our ‘cry’ to Fox, I think we have to keep ‘our cool’ and not let them think that he intimidates us, thus the best strategy to use with the network is to let them know that in OUR eyes he is just a fool!
    On the other hand, if the moderator will ahndle himl in the same way Maurice did in the radio interview, I think he will come accross quite weak.

    I noticed you have this person who calls himself a “Rabbi Weiss” slated to come an to your show today. First let me say the same thing everybody else is saying, which is: Mr. Ahmed Weiss represents nobody!

    I am writing regarding the upcoming interview with “rabbi” Weiss. I understand your point of view, you are ratings driven. That is how you make living, and by bringing a figure as Mr. Weiss on will help boost ratings.
    Obviously i think the man is an outrage and is 100% banned from society. In fact the Jews have a law that states: if one person is running after another person to kill him, you shall kill the pursuer first. He is called a “Rodef” (pursuer).
    Some people have brought up the question if Mr Weiss is a “rodef”, by dangering the lives of jews.
    The only thing I ask is that you let it be known during the interview that he only represents himself as well as maybe 10-20 other people, and NOT the orthodox jews.

    You are way off. The gedolei yisroel regard the actions of Mr. Weiss as beyond the pale. Therefore his actions can hardly be construed as a “tov” which warrants hakarah. The Orthodox Jews have a voice, and it has the right to expose the am haaratzim who unilaterally declare themselves the representative of Orthodox Jewry for the frauds they are.

    R’ Chaim’s contentions are emes; so are R’ Elchonon’s (this goes without saying). But they would never have sanctioned the attendance of individuals who purport to be “Rabbis” or “Orthodox Jews” in Holocaust denial conferences with some of the world’s most ardent and vitriolic anti-semites. It is also self-evident that they (nor their Rebbe, for that matter, R’ Yoel) would have sanctioned their chillul Shabbos b’farhesya.

    It is essential to understand the view of R’ Chaim and R’ Elchonon on Zionism. However, because of the lies of Mr. Weiss and his evil cabal of attention-crazed sonei Hashem v’sonei Torah, it became essential that Orthodox Jews proclaim that our Rabbis are shomer Shabbos and do not cavort with terrorists bent on the murder of millions of innocent people.

    PS Your post contradicts itself: If you are not a member of “Neturei Karta” (Weiss is not), then you would not have written. “we are doing it for your sake.” No matter what you went through in life, you are still responsible for your actions. 33. Scheiss learned at a number of places and did not fit anywhere. Lakewood could have been one of them. I also heard that it was Yerushalayim NK loser in chief Moshe Hirsch who learned at Lakewood; others say he learned at Chaim Berlin. There is no point figuring out where these oisvorfen learned; they did not pick up their dreck, I mean derech, in any legitimate yeshiva.

38. Just listened to a previous interview with yisroel weiss( please do not refer to him by the honorific he professes- that is just an affectation). More to the point, I am amazed that the interviewer failed to ask him to substantiate his claims of wide support from the orthodox jewish community, of which I am a member. I know , as does everyone else in the jewish community, that there is not one orthodox rabbi or authority who supports this tiny fringe group of misfits. The only name weiss was able to offer was that of Rabbi Dushinsky whose out- of – context message dates back almost 60 years and who would certainly not have concurred with weiss’s current words or actions. I challenge him- which current recognized rabbinic authority approves of your actions? Every prominent orthodox group and rabbi who has bothered to issue a statement on these insane policies of the group which calls itself neturei karta has soundly condemned them

39. I emailed you just a short while ago but would like to add just a few thoughts upon further reflection. As investigative reporters, you certainly are in a position to know which people and which organizations represent mainstream orthodox jewish opinions. It amazes me that you interviewed weiss in the first place, as he represents virtually noone, as you can no doubt easily verify by consulting mainstream jewish leaders, and then it surprises me that you allowed mr. boruch cohen to rebut mr. weiss . I have no problem with what mr. cohen said, and he said it well, but again, he is an unknown individual. Why not consult and interview someone who is a recognized and authoritative spokesman for orthodox jewry whose views and opinions would carry more weight with the audience, and who would correctly present the true views of orthodox jewry. And as I suggested in another forum, why don’t these fringe band of neturei karta go test the waters for us and move (permanently) to Damascus or khan yunis to live among their arab friends? I personally am acquainted with jews who fled Iran and Syria and other arab lands to escape persecution. The stories they tell are harrowing. I do not believe they are imaginary. Why not interview some of these jews who might tell a different story of the arab’s “ love” for jews than mr weiss tells.
