Due to the efforts of the MK R’ Moshe Gafne, chairman of the Knesset Finance Committee, a new bus line between Bnei Brak and Netanya should be operating within a month. The new bus is expected to run 12 times daily in both directions. From Netanya to Bnei Brak will be the 613 bus and in the other direction, the 620.

This will be the first time there is bus service between the two cities, with officials indicating the bus should be operational in January 2010. Gafne explains he received a growing number of requests from chareidi leaders in Netanya, seeking to facilitate travel to Bnei Brak, showering Ministry of Transportation senior official Yehuda Elbaz with praise for his assistance in pushing through the new line.
