While she is clearly not a friend of Israel, MK Hanin Zoabi is not concerned with what the Knesset perceives as political correctness and she speaks her mind.
Once again Zoabi used the Knesset to attack IDF soldiers as she has many times in the past, citing they murder. Zoabi spoke to the plenum on Wednesday 23 Sivan, directing her comments to the agreement reached to resume diplomatic ties with Turkey.
As one who was on the Marvi Marmara that sought to break the IDF marine blockade on Gaza, Zoabi accused the naval commandos who boarded the vessel of murdering the Turkish nationals on board.
She reminded her colleagues how she stood on the podium six years earlier and was condemned and now, the Government of Israel apologies to Turkey, accusing the IDF commandos of murder. There were shouts to remove her from the podium.
Zoabi is demanding an apology to each and every “activist” on board the flotilla, as well as demanding compensatory payment and an end to the naval blockade of Gaza.
Deputy Knesset Speaker (Yisrael Beitenu) Hamad Amar removed Zoabi from the podium and ousted her from the plenum session.
A shouting match resulted and MKs Oren Chazan, Miki Levi and Jamal Zahalka were removed from the plenum too.
MK (Kulanu) Michael Oren commented “Democracy is founded on the sovereignty of which it is based, basic loyalty. Without this a democracy cannot exist. An MK who calls IDF soldiers murderers continues to receive a salary from the Knesset. Does anyone doubt the necessity of a law to suspend her?”

What a circus! How sad, if not for the language spoken one wouldn’t even know that they’re Jewish.
