Chief of Israel Police Dudi Cohen warned that “settler resistance” surrounding the government construction freeze is crossing the “red line”.
Addressing a routine weekly police briefing, the chief of the department stated that opposition to inspectors and police in yishuvim has “crossed the line”, exceeding legitimate protest and freedom of expression.
The chief added the department will aggressively treat cases of property damage and assault, and all efforts will be made to prevent a further escalation in the violence.
