Among the many being menachem aveil HaGaon HaRav Shalom Cohen Shlita whose rebitzen was niftar this week was an IDF soldier, who arrived with HaRav HaGaon Eliyahu Abarjil Shlita.
An avreich affiliated with the Yerushalmi branch arrived at well and it did not take long for the presence of the soldier to elicit his ire. He was quick to comment to the soldier on his arriving in uniform. He, the avreich, was then asked to leave by persons close to Rav Cohen for insulting the soldier. He refused and was physically removed against his will.
Rumors were spread that Rav Cohen asked the soldier to leave but this is not based in fact. The avreich was asked to leave and was subsequently ousted.

This is news?! This is embarrassing.
Thanks for another pointless news tidbit aimed to call out chareidim!! your an inspiration to us all.
It is so sad when our people are our own worst enemies. Jews should live together in peace with respect for all. No one is higher than anyone else. Hashem is watching, and Moshiach seems to be a long way off.
#2 you didnt know YWN has an agenda against the followers of rav shmuel aurbach they view it as their holy duty to put them in a bad light. may hashem have mercy on them
they call out news networks like CNN when they report news with an agenda, yet they do the exact same thing.
Just curious if all those who have an issue with YWN reporting this also have an issue when they report about stupid and wrong acts perpetrated by Jews who are not frum, zionists, or dati leumi. Yes its hurts when there is someone who may look like you and even share some of your views causes a chilul Hashem. No different when frum people commit and are busted for fraud. That does not mean that we should not bring attention to their bad behavior. Perhaps this avreich would have thought twice if he knew he would be a news item. I highly doubt that R. Shlomo Zalaman- R. Shmul’s father, would have condoned the behavior of the avreich
Ywn doesnt paint anyone in a bad light. The scoundrals themselves are plenty adept at that.
The soldier mentioned was not affiliated with the Jerusalem branch because the Jerusalem branch don’t even have any followers in the army. Neither did anyone of the Jerusalem branch throw out that soldier.
