A woman’s foot was caught in the Jerusalem light rail in the Shivtei Yisrael Street area on Monday morning 14 Sivan. EMS personnel on the scene report the woman was in moderate condition. Hydraulic apparatus was brought to the scene to lift the car from the woman’s foot.
United Hatzalah EMT David Goldman reports “When I arrived at the scene, I saw a 70-year-old woman with her foot caught between the wall of the light rail at the station. She was in moderate condition with a leg and head injury”.
Hadassah Hospitals spokeswoman Hadar Elboim reported the woman, 70, was injured in a leg and was listed in moderate/stable condition with a fracture.

There are plenty of low-class news organizations to serve the appetites of yentas and am-haratzim. A publication dedidcated to serving the Torah community should be above that. YWN should not stoop to cheap voyeurism by plastering endless photo of accidents, fires, and tragedies. That’s especially disturbing when you consider that secular Jewish news media adhere to a higher standard than our own.
