A female resident of Karmei Tzur in her 20s was lightly injured in a stabbing attack at Gush Etzion Junction close to midnight on motzei shabbos.

The attacker got out of a taxi, instructing the driver to wait. He tried to stab a man, who reacted quickly and took two steps back. He then quickly turned to the female and stabbed her in her lower back.

The driver and attacker fled towards nearby Arab villages. The victim was transported to Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital.
