Police report three Jewish males are in custody, suspected of perpetrating a December 2008 stabbing attack against an Arab resident of the eastern capital.
On December 12, 2008, upon completing his shift at an area simcha hall at about 1:00am, the victim passed through Meah Shearim and he was attacked by the Jewish youths, who stabbed him repeatedly.
The residents are not Jerusalem residents according to the report, but they were apprehended in Meah Shearim and will be brought before a remand hearing later on Tuesday. Police report the suspects in custody have admitted to their actions.
