IDF Civil Administration inspectors who were prevented from serving stop-construction orders in Maale Adumim in Shomron earlier on Monday returned during the early evening hours, this time determined to accomplish their mission.

It appears Defense Minister Ehud Barak was not kidding when he stated he will use an “iron fist” policy to enforce the law, and he will not tolerate any attempt to circumvent the cabinet’s decision.

Soldiers escorting the inspectors used at least one stun grenade to distance the protestors who attempted to prevent inspectors from entering the community once again, but they were dispersed.

Community officials deny reports that residents pelted security officials with rocks, stating it is simply untrue and some are trying to besmirch their good name, insisting no one in the community did any such thing.
