Former Kadima cabinet minister Chaim Ramon, who today remains a senior party official, continues to promote his hallucinatory agenda, speaking on Galei Tzahal (Army Radio) on Sunday morning, making an appeal to residents of Yehuda and Shomron, calling upon them “to come home” to the other side of the Green Line, promising “we will embrace you and see to your needs”.
It would appear the former senior minister bases his remarks on the overwhelming success enjoyed by the expellees of Gush Katif and N. Shomron, most still unsettled over four years after being uprooted from their homes and communities by then Prime Minister Ariel Sharon.
Ramon expects residents of Yehuda and Shomron, even those who are willing to relocate, to take him seriously, as the government has yet to stand up to its responsibilities regarding the close to 10,000 residents of Gaza. Ramon is now seeking to compound the catastrophic situation by creating tens of thousands of additional refugees and by handing over additional areas of Eretz HaKodesh to Israel’s enemies, to a “peace partner” that still refuses to recognize Israel’s right to exist as a Jewish state.
