Following the murderous terror attack at Tel Aviv’s Sarona Market complex, Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu on Thursday afternoon, 3 Sivan, is convening his security cabinet.
The meeting during the afternoon hours follows the urgent briefing held by Mr. Netanyahu with security and intelligence chiefs immediately after returning home from a state visit to Russia on Wednesday night, as the attack was taking place.
Not too long after the attack, Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu, Defense Minister Avigdor Lieberman and Public Security Minister Gilad Erdan visited the site of the attack together and they were briefed on the scene by Tel Aviv Police Chief Edri.Four people were killed and others wounded in the shooting attack that took place in the heart of Tel Aviv, a short distance from the ‘Kirya’ Defense Ministry on Kaplan Street.
