Tefillos are requested on behalf of the Bostoner Rebbe Shlita, Rabbi Levi Yitzchak [ben Sara Sasha] Horowitz, whose condition during recent weeks has taken a turn for the worse. The Rebbe remains in an intensive care unit in Jerusalem’s Shaare Zedek Medical Center. The Rebbe is truly in need of Heavenly Mercy.

Following is the statement released by the Rebbe’s gabbai.

“A large group of Bostoner chassidim gathered at the Kosel on Thursday day night to daven for the well being of the Rebbe Shlita who continues to be hospitalized in Yerushalayim’s Shaarei Tzedek Medical Center. During the day on Thursday the Rebbe’s condition became more complex giving rise to renewed concern both to the medical team and all those close to the Rebbe. Amongst the participants at the Atzeres Tefilla were the Slonimer Rebbe Shlita, and two of the Rebbe’s sons. The Rebbe’s children from the USA are expected to arrive in Eretz Yisroel before Shabbos.

“Also yesterday evening the Modzitzer Rebbe Shlita visited the Bostoner Rebbe adding his heartfelt tefillos to those of Klal Yisroel.

The tzibur is asked to daven for the Rebbe, Levi Yitzchak ben Sara Sasha, together with all those of Klal Yisroel in need of refuos and yeshuos.”

Tefillos were held on Thursday night on the Rebbe’s behalf at the Kosel and elsewhere in Eretz Yisrael and around the world. Hundreds of chassidim and supporters were present at the Kosel to take part in the atzeres tefilla on the Rebbe’s behalf.
