10:30PM IL: The wounded terrorist is reportedly a resident of Hebron. Ichilov Hospital is reporting that he is currently in surgery.

At least one victim of the attack has been transported to Tel Hashomer Hospital. The victim’s condition is unknown.

Zaka reports that in addition to the three persons who were murdered R”L, there is one victim in critical condition and three others in serious condition.

UPDATE 10:15PM IL: Zaka reports the critically wounded victim had been pronounced dead at Ichilov Hospital.

A Yarkon District police spokesman reports that the first call for shooting at the complex came in at 21:30. A number of people were wounded as a result, treated and transported to Ichilov Hospital from the scene. A few minutes later, additional calls came in for shooting in different areas. A large force was dispatched. The scene is now under control. Police continue to comb the area.

It appears police fear explosive devices may have been placed at the scene.

There are unconfirmed reports that a search is ongoing for another terrorist who may have fled the scene. what is certain is that a police chopper is operating in the area along with commando and SWAT teams.

UPDATE 10:11PM IL: Magen David Adom reports nine victims at this time with one in critical condition, five serious and three in moderate-to-light condition.

UPDATE 10:06PM IL: The following is based on the preliminary information available at the scene. One armed terrorist fired randomly as he ran through the complex. He either ran out of ammunition or his makeshift weapon jammed. While police continue to comb the complex, it does not appear likely that the attack was carried out by a single terrorist.

The terrorist is alive and in custody.

UPDATE 10:00PM IL: Police are still operating on the assumption that there is a shooter(s) in the area. The Sarona market area has not been secured and all persons are ordered to remain where they area as the area is being combed by police and specialized units.

The area is swarming with SWAT and commando forces as well as EMS units, with the latter being held at the perimeter as the shopping complex has not been secured.

A spokesman from Ichilov Hospital confirms nine victims are being treated and others are reportedly on the way.

One eyewitness to the attack reports that “the terrorist continued shooting in all directions until he ran out of bullets and then ran”.

UPDATE 9:57PM IL: Update from Ichilov Hospital. A total of nine victims. One victim is in critical condition, two serious and the others with various degrees of non-life-threatening injuries.

Ichilov is very close to the scene of the attack and it is unlikely that victims will be transported to other hospitals.

FIRST REPORT 8:35PM IL: At least nine people have been injured a short time ago at the Sarona Market complex in Tel Aviv in what appears to be a shooting attack. At least one person, believed to be the terrorist, has been neutralized.

Magen David Adom Chief of Operations Eli Bin confirms nine wounded, with at least one person in traumatic arrest.

Police seem to be confirming a number of other shooting incidents in the Sarona complex. Police are shutting the area down, calling on people to remain where they are and not to leave stores. It appears a number of people are in traumatic cardiac arrest.
