Rabbi Michal Emanuel, the father of the infant critically injured in a vehicular accident near Moshav Gamzu last week spoke with Kikar Shabbos News, calling for achdus and tefilos to save his son, Netanel ben Esther, who remains in critical condition.
“Only achdus among Am Yisrael will save my son. Please continue to be mispallel”, stated the father, who added “These are difficult days for us. We continue to daven and remain hopeful together with Am Yisrael that our son will improve and be out of life-threatening danger”.
“My only reason for going public is to thank HKBH for the miracle he performed for us. The second matter is to thank Am Yisrael around the world for the tefilos and all that is being done for us. We know and we hear everything going on. We understand some have accepted Shabbos 10 minutes earlier for our son’s refuah and other have taken on adherence to other mitzvos and this is greatly appreciated.
“We are still in need of Yeshuos Hashem and call on Am Yisrael to continue being mispallel, with an emphasis on achdus, that we all unite with achdus and not remain separate – Ashkenazim and Sephardim but one achdus.
“The child is Baruch Hashem stable and we continue to be mispallel and await Yeshuos Hashem – the doctors say it depends on the tefilos of Am Yisrael”.
Rabbi Emanuel also thanks Kikar Shabbos for spreading the word on his behalf.
