Police are out in large numbers around the capital, with a focus on the Old City on Sunday, 28 Iyar, Yom Yerushalayim. Police announce there will be zero tolerance to anyone seeking to provocatively, including the wearing of garments that contain provocative statements and/or pictures.

No less than 1,200 uniformed and plainclothes policepersons will be on hand, part of the Jerusalem Day detail to ensure the festive day passes without incident.

In the interim, the Ir Amim organization has filed on Sunday morning with the High Court of a Justice hoping to prevent the Flag Parade from passing through the Muslim Quarter of the Old City. the organization feels the parade is provocative since tonight is the first night of the Muslim month of Ramadan.
