A soldier was wounded in a stabbing attack in the Nachlat Yitzchak neighborhood of Tel Aviv on Monday evening. He was transported to Ichilov Hospital where his condition is reportedly light. He is expected to be released in a short time after doctors treat a number of facial lacerations.
The attacker, a 17-year-old Arab male, used a screwdriver. He was restrained and held down for police by pedestrians in the area.
MDA reports the call was dispatched on Yigal Alon Street at the corner of Nachlat Yitzchak. The victim, 19, was conscious and alert when EMS arrived on the scene.
