PHOTO LINK BELOW: IDF Civil Administration officials on Monday morning came to the Southern Chevron Hills community of Neguhot, to the Beit HaKerem neighborhood, where they destroyed two permanent homes; structures they explained that were built without authorization. The move leaves two families homeless.
One of the now-homeless residents, Assaf Fried was quoted by Arutz-7 as saying there are illegal Arab homes less than a half mile from his former home, and despite demolition orders issued ten years ago, the home still stands.
Regional council head Tzviki Bar-Chai decried the move, which he stated is yet another example of the Civil Administration’s “selective policy of targeting Jewish communities while ignoring widespread illegal Arab sector construction”.
