Security concerns surrounding President Shimon Peres’ state visit to S. America are running high as pro-PA elements continue to compel security officials to amend the president’s schedule. Last week, one speaking engagement was canceled abruptly due to credible information that a stormy anti-Israel protest was planned near that venue.

The president is scheduled to depart from Brazil on Sunday, heading for Buenos Aires. Prior to his departure, he will take part in an economic conference attended by prominent Israeli businessmen.
