While the weather throughout Israel on Tuesday 16 Iyar is unseasonably cold accompanied by showers, Lag Baomer is arriving on schedule nonetheless and in Meron, the various agencies are already in Lag B’Omer mode. Ichud has also once again set up its sectoring number signs to facilitate locating a person in need of emergency assistance. This year the organization will be using advanced LifeCompass® technology to facilitate operations during the Lag B’Omer weekend.
Zaka will be distributing thousands of identity bracelets for children in the event they get lost at hundreds of thousands of visitors are expected in Meron in the coming days.
