The State Comptroller on Tuesday, 16 Iyar released a report that contains concerns of possible illegal activities pertaining to Binyamin Netanyahu during his tenure as Finance Minister during the government of the late Prime Minister Ariel Sharon from 2003-2005. The case has already been dubbed ‘Bibi-Tours’.
The alleged violations include accepting gifts and benefits that are prohibited, doubling billing and diverting funds. The comptroller mentions a “lack of clarity” regarding Mr. Netanyahu and his family’s use of El Al points, with the latter belonging to the state and allegedly misused by the family.
