It is now cleared to release that in a new development, engineers have made the necessary adaptations to permit deploying an Iron Dome defense system on the bow of an Israel Navy vessel, permitting the system to detect and neutralize incoming rocket threats from out at sea.
To date, the rocket system, which has saved countless lives from rockets fired into Israel from Gaza, has only been deployed on land.
B’chasdei Hashem this gives the IDF a new advantage in the ongoing war against terrorist attacks from outside Israel’s borders.
