The nose of a Ukraine Airlines 737 on Monday morning after midnight lifted off the ground while parked in Ben-Gurion Airport Terminal 3 after passengers disembarked. There was damage to the plane, which was checked closely in the morning hours.

According to the official statement released by the Israel Airports Authority, there was an improper distribution of weight in the cargo section of the plane. As such, after the passengers got off, the plane lifted up in front while connected.

An investigation into the incident was launched. There were no injuries.
