The PNC Bank located on Route 70 in Brick Township has been robbed early this afternoon, YWN has learned.

The robbery took place at the PNC Bank branch at the corner of Route 70 and Van Zile road at about 12 p.m., police said. No arrests have been made and authorities are on scene as they continue to investigate.

The suspects may have fled into Lakewood, and the LPD is currently looking to two black males armed with handguns. They were reportedly wearing backpacks, and had white T-shirts on. 

Additionally, three area public schools have instituted a lockdown as police investigate the bank robbery.
