The NYPD is looking for a man who punched a liquor store employee in the face after stealing a bottle of liquor.
The incident happened last Monday (May 2) at the Soreiku Vinyards liquor store located at 387 Broadway.
Police tell YWN that the suspect entered the store at approximately 8:30PM, and attempted to remove a bottle of liquor from the location. Upon being stopped by the 38 year-old male employee, a struggle ensued at which point the employee was punched in the face. The individual fled the store with the liquor.
Thankfully, the victim was not seriously injured, and was not transported to the hospital.
The suspect is described as follows:
Male, Hispanic, 5’8″ to 5’10″tall, approximately 22 to 26 years-old.
