A special asifa commemorating our dear teacher, mentor, and dear friend, Rebbetzin Henie Meisels ע”ה will be held Monday night at 8 p.m., for women only, May 9th, at Sara Schenirer, 4622 14th ave. Brooklyn, NY, and this Wednesday evening at 8 p.m. for men & women, May 11th, at Bnos Yaakov Elementary School in Lakewood, NJ. At 2 Kent Rd.

I will always regard Rebbitzen Meisels as a quintessential Yiddishe Mama to every young woman who turned to her as I remember when I was in Sara Schenirer Seminary 34 short years ago. Everything she did and every interaction was b’simcha and efficiency to help every student in any way she could even under the trying challenges that no one could even guess she was dealing with due to her clearly strong core of bitachon. May she be a meilitzah yosher for her family, all the students, and all klal Yisrael!
