The trial against IDF soldier Sgt. Elor Azariya got underway on Monday, 1 Iyar, in the IDF Yaffo court. Elor faces charges of manslaughter and acting against regulations in the shooting death of a wounded terrorist in Hebron on Purim.
There is widespread support for Azariya, as a Rafi Smith Institute poll showed most support releasing him.
Supporters of the young soldier feel the IDF Prosecutor has some kind of agenda here as they are moving ahead with a criminal trial despite lacking hard evidence to make the case against him.

Zionists prove themselves to be the ultimate “galut Jew”, time and time again.
This soldier saved lives of innocents and neutralized a savage murderer and in the heat of battle. Any civilized country would be embarrassed if its military did something like this to such a soldier.
