Lakewood will once again have Meyer Lichtenstein (Democrat) & Menashe Miller (Republican) serving as their Township Committeeman.
Miller & Lichtenstein were both first elected in 2003. Both work very hard on behalf on the Lakewood Frum community, and are well deserving in their reelection victories.
YWN congratulates both on their reelection.

Mr Harry asked when the taxes are going down. It is a question all of Lakewood has been asking since there was a group formed calling itself the lakewood vaad.Taxes will go down once a group of askanim are put together by the tzibbur a group of people that don’t do any business with Lakewood municipality, people that don’t own property in town that need serious variances, people that don’t make their money being grant writers and people that are not employed by a mosod. Then there will finally be askanim we cant trust askanim that don’t have any negios. They will then see to it that candidates for township committeemen are not once that have made real estate their means of making money. They will hire committeemen that don’t manage property for the so called askanim, developers and all the players of this town. They will see to it that that the influence of the tzibbur is not used for backdoor deals and favors and that the influence is used to lower taxes and all the other needs of the tzibur.
