So what difference does it make if he was or was not a “yeshiva bochur?” Furthermore, what hypocrisy is being referred to here? The protest against the draft is a protest against oppression and injustice. Even if the particular person being supported may not meet the criteria of some people as a Tzadik Gomore, does not mean that he should be thrown to the wolves.
I strongly suspect that the CHILLONIM will be having their own anti-draft protests in the near future. The actions of the military elite have become so obviously repugnant that even the most loyal citizens of the State are outraged and asking serious questions.
