Lakewood Hatzolah: Shabbos Goy passes away

lakewoodhatzolahbus.jpgThis Shabbos morning, Lakewood Hatzolah lost a dear and devoted friend. The person (otherwise known as “George”) who was responsible for driving the Hatzolah Members vehicles back from the calls to their homes on Shabbos passed away suddenly from a massive heart attack. George, his wife, and two children have been serving the Lakewood Tzibur with devotion for more then 20 years. The thousands of Yidden that he’s helped directly and indirectly for the past 20+ years will never be forgotten. May he rest in peace.

  1. Please keep us updated when and where the funeral will take place.it’ll be a tremendous kiddush hashem and hakoras hatov for everybody who can,to attend.

  2. perhaps you should post family’s address so people could respond with cards. I’m very sure it would be a Kiddush Hashem. (Or post yeshiva world’s address attention: George’s wife.)

  3. seriously, guys. i knew him, he wasn’t from the chasidei umos haolam but certainly did help hatzolah and of course all those who needed it on shabbos. but it would show a kiddush hashem for people to send a card. he was the caretaker of the the apartments(Georgies) on 9th between clifton and lexington. his daughter is a nurse by Dr. Shanik’s office.
