The Women of the Wall (WoW) members arrived at the Kosel on Sunday morning 1 Chol Hamoed Pesach as promised. They held their prayer service in a cordoned off area outside the ezras noshim and they recited Birchas Kohanos as planned.
However, due to the decision of the attorney general to prohibit the event, they recited the pesukim but without raising their hands or placing tallitot over their heads. Organization heads explain this portion of the event has been authorized despite the attorney general’s decision not to permit to mimic Birchas Kohanim.

On Pesach, I would allow them. The Gemoroh says “Sh’af Hen Hoyo B’oisoi Haness”.
This is the reason why they’re obligated in the Mitzvah of Matzoh. Or because they are “Bbal Toichlu Chometz.
YWN – this was not a “prayer service” or at least not a Jewish prayer service by these recalcitrant women. It was a political demonstration. Your readers expect YWN to present news accurately.
Yira: Your attempt to mix the mitzva of Pesach and the NON-mitzva of birchas kohanos, is an illogical piece of shibush. One is what Hashem wants us to do, and the other is what Hashem DOES NOT want us to do.
