Trying to maximize both time and profit, President Obama makes his signature fundraising move of late by doing two back-to-back fundraisers at the same Florida hotel Monday.

The President will round up $1.5 million, says a Democratic source, for House and Senate Democrats at the famed Fontainebleau Miami Beach when he speaks before an evening reception and then dinner benefiting the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee and the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee.

There will be 450 people in attendance at both events.

As per YWN-113, Northbound Collins Avenue between 41st Street & 48th Street will be closed from 4:00PM Monday until 9:00AM Tuesday. 41st Street, I-195, and I-95 will also have periodical closures.

Timeline for President Obama’s visit to Florida:

Monday, Oct. 26

• Afternoon: President Obama will speak to sailors at Naval Air Station Jacksonville on the first stop of a two-day trip to Florida.

• Evening: President Obama will attend a fundraiser at Fontainebleau on Miami Beach to benefit Democratic members of the U.S. House and Senate. He will stay in Miami overnight.

Tuesday, Oct. 27

President Obama will travel to Arcadia for a tour of the DeSoto Next Generation Solar Energy Center and will deliver a speech.

8 a.m.: Doors open at DeSoto Next Generation Solar Energy Center, 4051 NE Karson, in Arcadia

10:45 a.m.: President Obama’s arrival on Air Force One at Sarasota-Bradenton International Airport (time approximate)

11 a.m.: Doors close at DeSoto Next Generation Solar Energy Center

11:45 a.m.: Program begins (time approximate)
