One of the victims of the bus bombing attack on board an Egged number 12 bus in Jerusalem on Monday, 10 Nissan, was Eden Dadon, 16. Mrs. Rochel Dadon, her mother, was also counted among the wounded, albeit less seriously than Eden who sustained moderate burns.

After seeing her daughter on Tuesday, Mrs. Dadon told the media “It was very difficult for me”, painfully aware of her child’s condition but feeling helpless.

Mrs. Dadon was seated two seats behind the driver but Eden opted for the rear, which is her norm. Mrs. Dadon explains the confusion that immediately followed the explosion, and then the reality of knowing her daughter was in the area of the terrorist’s blast. “I saw her burned and her skin peeling off” she describes, quoting Edan saying “Mommy it really hurts”.
