The IDF on Monday 10 Nissan publicized that a terror tunnel from Gaza to a border area community in Israel was discovered last week. It marks the first discovery of such a major tunnel since Operation Protective Edge during the summer of 2014.
According to the IDF Spokesman’s Office, the large tunnel extended from eastern Gaza into Israel. For security reasons the exact route of the tunnel inside Israel may not be publicized but it is reported that the giant tunnel was 30 meters deep in certain areas, clearly signaling a tunnel that was designed for major terror operations.
Also not released for publication is the methodology used by the IDF to detect the tunnels, once again for security reasons.

Southern District Commander Major-General Eyal Zamir told the press Hamas is preparing itself for the next round of warfare with Israel. He explained Hamas and other terrorist organizations are working to rebuild themselves following Operation Protective Edge.

Everyone has known this for the longest time!
in answer to comments 1 & 2….the world can have positive confirmation of these tunnels and everyone can know this “for the longest time”…but, you know what they say…”don’t confuse me with the facts”. the world’s bias to jews and israel will continue no matter what.
