President Barack Obama is reportedly headed to the city to praise the FBI and New York Police Department for breaking up an alleged terror plot.
The New York Post says the president will visit FBI headquarters in lower Manhattan tomorrow to thank the agency and members of the FBI-NYPD Joint Terrorism Task Force involved in the arrest of Najibullah Zazi.
The 24-year-old Afghan immigrant, is being held without bond on charges of conspiring to use weapons of mass destruction.
Zazi was arrested in his hometown of Denver last month, following a trip to the city.
Prosecutors say Zazi was planning an attack on the city’s mass transit system that would have been the biggest terror attack since the September 11th terrorist attacks.
Zazi has pleaded not guilty and has denied receiving al-Qaida training.

lets us make two points here.
first when it comes to giving out praise from the FBI and the nypd will find a way to shake hands and make up for a good photo opportunity.
second this is an unofficial endorsement of bloomberg , since when would he refuse to be shown together with the president in a picture shown all over the world .
Obama should stop prancing around the world like the host with the most. He promised to get Bin Laden (ys). He promised there will be tons of jobs to rebuild the infrastructure. He promised he will improve health care for those who dont have it; not ruin the health care for people who have it and are happy with their coverage.
Impeach Obama. We can’t take another four years of another zero.
Everyone is asking why Obama can’t just pick up the phone and thank the nypd and FBI but sources tell YWN that when the whitehouse or Obama calls the NYPD they keep on hanging up the phone!
