As Pesach nears, smuggling efforts from the PA (Palestinian Authority) are stepped-up as smugglers try to capitalize on the yomtov shopping market.
In a joint operation involving various agencies, a storage facilty with 30,000 illegal eggs was found in the Beit Haninah area of the capital. They were packed on platforms of 30 and a forged certification stamp was printed on each egg.
The preliminary investigation into this quantity of eggs shows they originated in the PA. they were intended for distribution in Jerusalem and the surrounding area.
Authorities also found a truck with a double wall, used to transport the illegal eggs. Several hundred more eggs were found in the truck. Al of the eggs were confiscated and destroyed. The truck was confiscated and the driver taken into custody.

Is it not hypocritical to complain about the Palestinians boycotting Israeli goods, when the Israelis are similarly refusing to allow Palestinians to sell their goods in Israel?
That works out to around 166 cases of eggs. They were destroyed? Couldn’t someone apply some sechel and donate these confiscated eggs to an organization that supplies needy families for Tom Tov?

# 1: It goes both ways. Also, I’m not totally sure, but “illegal” probably means that they were lacking proper transport papers, health certification, etc, whatever. Not just a “stam” boycott. Besides our well-meaning friends in Europe want west bank produce “labeled” (aka boycotted). Who are we Jews to oppose them?
