According to a final ruling of the Israel Tax Authority, an internet website may be viewed as a ‘permanent establishment’ and some sites, which do significant business, may be compelled to pay tax in Israel under certain conditions. The ruling is going to have an impact on some of the world’s largest sites including Google, Amazon, and Facebook.

Many feel that Israeli consumers will suffer for in the case of Amazon for example, fewer persons will be willing to sell to Israelis.
