As a Result of Search for Missing Orlando Girls, Resort Manager Puts on Teffilin for His First Time


sB’chasdei Hashem the two missing 16-year-old girls who went missing n Shabbos in Orlando were found. As a result of that ordeal, a manager of a resort put on tefilin for the first time in his life.

It is reported a manager of a resort area near the one the Chabad girls were spending Shabbos was moved to his core by the scene, the concern surrounding their disappearance and the amazing response dealing with the search for the two. He explained this was particularly moving for him, seeing so many who were not at all familiar with the girls volunteering to launch a search.

The man told the rabbonim that he too is Jewish, and he added that in the merit of the girls being found alive and well, he was going to put on tefilin for the first time in his life. The man is quoted saying “Baruch Hashem’ that I merit putting on tefilin for the first time in my life”.
